Foaming Face Scrub

This is a foaming face scrub and was made in two parts. First I made a mild foaming bath wash from scratch with a blend of gentle surfactants, water and vegetable glycerin and let that sit for a few days to cool and firm up. When it was ready I whipped it gently and added more vegetable glycerin, golden jojoba, finely ground pumice powder and ground apricot kernel. There are two variations. The first one is has a wonderful spa-like aroma of tea tree, patchouli and spearmint essential oils. The second is a lovely lavender peppermint. It has such an airy light texture to it and is easily spreadable and is very creamy with a little bit of water added.
